Selah’s Painted Dream earns the Literary Classics Seal of Approval

Riding for thirteen-year-old Selah is everything.  She can imagine nothing better than feeling the wind in her hair as she rides her horse, Sweet Dream. So, when her father announces the family will be moving to Austin, she feels utterly distraught.  How will she keep up with her riding?  Moving would mean her dreams of going to Nationals could be shot.  And what about her friends?  Selah is determined to stay; all she needs is a good plan.  Lucky for her, she has one. But it’s not going to be easy with Grandpa’s new lady-friend Katie around always distracting him from Selah.  Author Susan Count’s Selah’s Painted Dream is a telling coming of age tale.  Young girls are sure to find Selah’s story to be engaging and highly relatable.  Count delivers another action-packed drama that is certain to appeal to youth audiences.  With a message of hope and a nod to Christian values, this book is highly recommended and has earned the Literary Classics Seal of Approval.
