The City of More, by Sonya Song, earns the Literary Classics Seal of Approval

The City of More is a children's picture book about a city where people valued "stuff" above everything.  The acquisition of things was so important, so all-consuming, that the residents of the City of More soon became overwhelmed with all the "stuff."  When they had finally reached their threshold, they went to the City of Less where they hoped to unload some of their "stuff," but the residents of the City of Less had less by choice and therefore, did not want the City of More's surplus "stuff."  So off they went to the City of Not, where the residents often had to do without.  The residents of the City of Not were thrilled and quite thankful for the kind gifts offered them by the City of More and the residents of all three cities had a grand celebration.

Author Sonya Song's City of More is a wonderfully insightful and highly engaging children's picture book.  Written in rhyme, somewhat reminiscent of the late-great Dr. Seuss, The City of More is a book that will not soon be forgotten.  Sure to be a hit in home and school libraries, The City of More has earned the Literary Classics Seal of Approval.
