Why Water's Worth It, by Lori Harrison, earns the Literary Classics Seal of Approval

Why Water’s Worth It,  by Lori Harrison, is a wonderfully informative children's picture book about water's importance and how and why we can keep our water supplies clean and safe.  The body of the book is written in rhyme, and the book also includes an interesting and educational afterword which offers suggestions on how everyone can make a difference in reducing waste while eliminating pollution to help preserve water supplies.  Whimsical watercolor illustrations by Jon Harrison are a lovely addition to this book wich is recommended for home and school libraries and has earned the Literary Classics Seal of Approval.
