The kings of the North and South in India have formed a peaceful alliance which is threatened by Raakshasha, an evil entity bent on ruling over all of India. The kings consult with their advisor who informs them the royal families will soon produce male and female heirs who will save India from the evil one. But the foretold Princess, Sonali, and her royal parents go missing when she is just a young child and all hope is lost for the prophecy to be fulfilled.
Destiny, the Tale of Sonali and Amir is a unique children's picture book, one in which the princess is a confident and intelligent young lady who sets out to restore her parents to power and save the kingdom.
